Recipe Developer & Founder
Hi, I’m Emma Miller!
Welcome to Daily Fork Vibe! I am the recipe developer, food writer, and home baker behind every tested recipe and culinary tutorial on this site.
Based in Portland, Oregon, I spent over 8 years working in professional bakery kitchens and community culinary workshops before launching Daily Fork Vibe as a dedicated space for home cooks looking for reliable, delicious recipes.
My Journey & Culinary Background
My approach to cooking is rooted in equal parts passion and science. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science & Nutrition, which fundamentally shaped the way I look at ingredients and kitchen techniques.
For me, baking is not just about following steps—it is about understanding why recipes work. From how fat ratios control cookie spread to why resting enriched dough is essential for pillowy cinnamon rolls, knowing the kitchen science turns good baking into foolproof baking.
After finishing my formal training and working alongside experienced pastry chefs, I noticed how easily home cooks feel overwhelmed by complicated techniques, hard-to-find ingredients, and inconsistent recipes found online. In 2024, I founded Daily Fork Vibe with a straightforward mission: to make everyday cooking and bakery-style treats approachable, reliable, and deeply satisfying for cooks of all levels.

Our Recipe Testing Standard
Nothing is more frustrating than wasting valuable time and ingredients on a recipe that does not turn out right. That is why every single recipe on Daily Fork Vibe is tested multiple times in a real home kitchen—monitoring precise oven temperatures, common ingredient substitutions, and baking cues—before it is ever published.
